A reminder for all students participating in after school activities: make sure you let your parents know if you are staying after school for any reason. If you need to call home before the end of the day, you can do so in the office at any time.

NJHS is hosting a toy drive for Toys for Tots! We are collecting new toys to bring joy to children in need this holiday season. You can drop off toys through December 10th in the bin across from the office.

There will be an informational meeting for anyone who would like to audition for Shrek Jr. today, Monday Dec 8 from 3:15-4:00 in room 103.  The meeting for crew will be in January. Please scan the QR codes around the school to join the Google Classroom. If you have questions, see Mrs. Callis!

There are a few more spots for the DC trip. If you are interested please stop by room 208 for the information.

The 8th grade girls basketball team won their game on Thursday night against Grissom, advancing them to the next round of the post season tournament. They played on Saturday against a tough Evergreen Park and came up short. The girls will play Conrady on Tuesday at 7:15 at OJ. Good luck girls!

Congrats to the 7th grade girls basketball team of their exciting win over Oak Lawn in the tournament. With 26 seconds left, Lily S. hit the game tying shot. Cate B. sunk a last second 3 to win the game. Way to go girls!

eSports tryouts will be held on Wednesday and Thursday this week in the Library.  Super Smash, Madden, and NBA2K tryouts will be held on Wednesday.  Mario Karts and Fifa tryouts will be held on Thursday. Please see Mrs. Poniatowski for any questions.

Congrats to the 6th/7th grade boys volleyball on their win over Conrady on Saturday. The boys will play Palos South at Jerling this Thursday at 5:00. We hope to see you all there.
